McAfee Enterprise works great for us, especially if you install ePO on your system, lets you know when other people get infected, forces updates, can wake sleeping/hibernating (with wake on lan) systems for updates, and rarely gets false positives.

If cost is an issue, use Security Essentials (free from http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials)

I'll definitely second MS Security Essentials. Nowhere near as many problems as I had with AVG, it doesn't bog down the system, and it is relatively small. Plus, it automatically works in tandem with the built in security features of Win 7, so those conflicts are avoided, as well. I don't know where M$ got this program, but they haven't managed to screw it up... yet. ::)

We are very happy with AVG, and have been using it for 6 years, if I recall correctly.
It works fine, and it is very lite. It does not use too many resources.

Microsoft once again, going after every company that offers free software.

Sad.

I had occasional problems with AVG. Problems that took 1 - 2 days to recover from. I have been using Avast for almost 2 years now with no problems at all. No conflicts with EVO, etc. MS Essentials is not adequate coverage.

MS Security Essentials is not a business package. Here at work we use Symantec Endpoint and it is very heavy, very expensive, but is also mission critical. It slows down Evo badly, so we have to tell it to leave all of the Evo RUN and RWN files alone. Otherwise it can take 30 seconds for the AR-A window to open!
