Title: PERVASIVE MONITOR
Post by carolg on 02/09/12 at 17:38:03

When I try to logout users at night, EVO tells me there are users in DBA.  I go into PVSW Monitor and there is no one there. And if there is and I try to close them, it says I have insufficuent rights.  I am the Admin. How can I not have rights?

Eventhought  you have admin rights you are not the administrator.
You must login into dba/evo as the administrator.

You don't have rights in the Monitor? Does your Windows profile have sufficient access to the PSQL server?

Depending on the Pervasive version, there are also limitations as to what you can do from a remote session versus sitting at the server console regardless who you are logged in as.

Yes, I noticed that when we upgraded from 2000i to 11. Creating database views must be done in the console. I'm still able to delete users, though, which is a Very Good Thing (tm)
