Title: PERVASIVE MONITOR Post by carolg on 02/09/12 at 17:38:03 When I try to logout users at night, EVO tells me there are users in DBA. I go into PVSW Monitor and there is no one there. And if there is and I try to close them, it says I have insufficuent rights. I am the Admin. How can I not have rights? |
Title: Re: PERVASIVE MONITOR Post by Kelloggs on 02/10/12 at 07:59:20 Eventhought you have admin rights you are not the administrator. You must login into dba/evo as the administrator. :-/ Kelloggs |
Title: Re: PERVASIVE MONITOR Post by GasGiant on 02/10/12 at 08:08:22 You don't have rights in the Monitor? Does your Windows profile have sufficient access to the PSQL server? |
Title: Re: PERVASIVE MONITOR Post by Lynn_Pantic on 02/10/12 at 09:32:01 Depending on the Pervasive version, there are also limitations as to what you can do from a remote session versus sitting at the server console regardless who you are logged in as. |
Title: Re: PERVASIVE MONITOR Post by GasGiant on 02/10/12 at 10:13:09 Yes, I noticed that when we upgraded from 2000i to 11. Creating database views must be done in the console. I'm still able to delete users, though, which is a Very Good Thing (tm) |
