Title: Lost Sales History Post by carolg on 06/19/12 at 13:21:21 We are trying to run sales reports from 2007 to 2011. Data for 2011 and 2012 is there, but no sales prior to 2011. We have had issues with PVSW in the past and I don't know if that could be the problem. We haven't printed multiple years reports for a while so I don't know when it could have happened. Could someone have archived or purged the data? If so, can I get someone to go into one of my backups and get the old years sales information? |
Title: Re: Lost Sales History Post by Kelloggs on 06/20/12 at 06:53:55 Have you try the SO-O-J Report? If nothing is there you should try to restore the ISARAHIL and ISARAHIN tables (Archived Sales Orders) Don't forget to make a back up, before restoring them. :-[ Kelloggs |
Title: Re: Lost Sales History Post by Lynn_Pantic on 06/20/12 at 10:13:16 SO-O-J does not look at archived information. SA-M and SA-N have an option to report on archived invoices so try them to see if they are archived. If they are then you can just use the SA-M and SA-N reports on archived invoices to get what you need. If the Archive option comes up empty then somebody purged them. If you do have them on an old backup, restore the backup of BKARHINV and BKARHIVL to a test company and purge 2011 and 2012 so they aren't duplicated. Then rename BKARHINV to ISARAHIN and BKARHIVL to ISARAHIL and put in your live company and the old data will be in the archive. You can then either leave them there and use SA-M and SA-N for reporting or use SM-J-K to restore them. |

Title: Re: Lost Sales History Post by Lynn_Pantic on 06/21/12 at 07:43:20 SO-O-J & K are not looking at invoice history, they are looking at the Open Orders, or in the case of archive, the closed order "skeletons" in the archived sales order file. The quantities in the archive file of clods sales orders will all be 0. |
