I like to print all notes before the item listing on packing lists. I set the flag to "N" in the packing slip print menu and saved it. Notes still print after items.
using EVO update 5/17/11 sp1 build 05/10/11

Sounds like you will need to edit the Packing List RTM to alter the order in which items print.

Thanks for the advise, it worked by shifting the notes subreport.
Now another problem. The second description and item notes do not print. I tried looking at the subreports to find anything but to no avail. Everything is set to: VISIBLE. I am using T6SOC4.RTM

Make sure the check boxes for "Print Notes" and "Print Lines with no Price" are both checked in SO-C when you try to print. If the Second Description line isn't included on the form it's not hard to add once you know the field name you are looking for.

Also the "Print Comment Lines for Shipped Items" - make sure that is set to Y.

I set all the flags to Y and I still do not get the item notes printing. These would be notes that are enteres in SO-A as a line after a line item. It does print in classic DBA.
Where is the "Print Comment Lines for Shipped Items" flag other than in SO-C?

Check to see what program you are running. After you print a Packing List, press F12 to see what version of the program you are running.

"Print Comments for Shipped Items" is on the new (T7) version of the program. Go to System Manager PS-G (Maintain Menu Acess Records). Select your user name or group, Click on "Edit User". That will populate the "Group" and "Menu" tables. Click on the "Sales" Group Button then the "SO" Menu Button. With the Group and Menu highlighted, click on the "Menu Lines" tab on the left of the screen. Next click on the entry for SO-C. The 3rd column is "Program Run" If you click on the file name T6SOC.RUN, you can edit the name of the program you want that menu item to call. (You can also browse to the file) Replace the T6 file name with T7SOC.RWN (Note: the T7 files have a RWN suffix not a RUN) Click Save, and exit out. When you select SO-C, you will be running the new version of the program and can check the "Comments for Shipped Items" box.

You could also do it the easy way and click the "Update to latest programs". Caution: It updates ALL users. My team doesn't always handle change well. I prefer the surgical approach. Let us know how it goes.

when going to PS-G an error message appeared. It tells me a menue is not set up. After exiting EVO-ERP and trying to start it again, a message pops up saying run "WBKMENUSETUP.RWN. after acknowledging, the login screen disappears and nothing happens.

Correction: The login screen appears. After entering login name and password the following appears:
"The menu items haven't been set up yet, Please run WBMENUSETUP.RWN first. The EVO-ERP loading screen appears, but disappears after I acknowledge the message.
Question is: how and from where do I run this WBMENUSETUP.RWN?

Can you log on at the server using your normal username and password? It sounds like there is an issue with your user menu file. I would post something on the Installation or Repeatable Problems board with the error message you are getting.

it does not let me log in on the server either. I am getting the same message. I will post in the installation forum section

You're welcome. Looks like your menus are sorted out. Lynn has a Flash video of how to set up users and make menu changes.
