Every time I enter a new employee or edit a current employee's information the program freezes up and the get the following error:
Access violation at address 0041f426 in module 'TP5WDBA.exe.' Read of address 4E4E5956.

using DBA classic Version 2004.1 IS Tech Support Update 10/24/12 SP1.

Sounds like a data problem. Go to UT-A and run T7DDCHECK (Evo-ERP) or DDCHECK (DBA Classic) and see if there are any errors listed on the report for BKPRMSTR or ISPRMSTR

I did not see this reply earlier..but I did run DDCHECK and there are some errors of missing FILELOC. None of the files were BKPRMSTR or ISPRMSTR. However when I tried to fix the FILELOC errors with NEWINIT in the default company it does not fix the issues found with DDCHECK.

Some additional information to add to the problem I am having with adding new employees; it seems to happen after I get to the enter Phone Number field. When I go in to edit current employees that have been set up already; there will be random characters that populate the phone number field, Mobile number field, or social security number field that were not entered by me. I have looked at the maintain database BKPRMSTR table and cannot find anything blatantly wrong.

Also some changes that are made through PR-A are not showing up in BKPRMSTR, changing an address or last name. I have tried REINDEX BKPRMSTR.

PR-A does not update BKPRMSTR unless you have the Synchronize PR and JC turned on in the lower right corner. If it is set to Y, changes to name and address will be synched. If it is set to $ then pay rates will also be synched.

If you are seeing odd characters in fields then it sounds like the data structure is not updated, which could be ISPRMSTR or BKPRINFO.

I do have the sync option set to Y. How do I update the BKPRINFO file?
