Have had no problems in a while but now I have a workstation that EvoErp won't run on.
I click on the shortcut as always, the opening screen pops up and disappears but the program never opens fully.
When I try it again, I get this: "You already have an instance of runtime executable for this path: ||SERVER\DBAMFG|"

No recent updates have been on the computer.

Went to work on Server and EvoErp is doing the same thing as the workstation, so it's not workstation related.

Try rebooting both computers. Usually this means that there is an instance of evoerp.exe or tp7runtime.exe running in the background, even though you can't see it. For evo, try Ctrl-Alt-Del and check for those two processes and end any you see. Then try again.

We tried multiple attempts at re-booting the server computer to no avail.
A technician ended up fixing several problems with the server computer including removal of several virus'.
Unfortunately this did not fix the problem.

On the server (and all workstations), Evo-Erp starts up and you see the welcome screen but it goes away and nothing else happens.
If you try again, it states that you already have it running. You have to use task manager to stop it from "running".
You can log into DbaMfg and it works, so we know that Pervasive is good.

The technician believes that a file required for start-up of Evo-Erp has been corrupted and recommends that the program be re-installed.
I e-mailed 21 hours ago for instructions on doing this process while retaining our data, but have not received a reply.
Frustration at being down for our third day now is beginning to build up.

What version of Evo are you running? You might want to try installing the last update. It should reinstall porgram files without compromising your data.

The last update was done 8/2012 and we had done the 10/2012 update or patches.

I installed the 4/04/2013 update and Evo-Erp on the server started working properly!
I got my work-station up and running by copying the .exe files to my ISTS folder.
I'll do the other work-stations later once I catch up from three days of paperwork.
