DBA/Evo seems to generally be very efficient in making PDFs, i.e. the ones that get emailed as Acks, Quotes, Invoices, etc.

Every computer in our system typically creates file sizes of around 7-12 KB for a 1 page document, except for one which creates file sizes of 1,153 or 1,154 KB every single time.

The machine in question is Win7x64. Two other Win7x64 machines make the small ones, (as do an XP and and a Win8 one).

So much for OS as a pattern... Do you have other PDF generators installed that are different? Shouldn't matter but just looking for differences.

There IS a difference there. The rogue machine has CutePDF on it and none of the others do. I guess we could try removing it.

We removed it, but that didn't solve the problem. Must be something else.

maybe there is a Setting somewhere for PDF resolution ?

None that we can find, but perhaps there's one hidden somewhere. We haven't knowingly changed any settings like that, and I'm sure the others haven't either.

David / Bethany:
Look for a file named PDFWrite.rsp on the rogue Machine.

If it exists, Rename it to something else and see if your PDF's shrink.

I found and renamed it, but the file size is still the same.

Also for the record, when I use CutePDF to print the files they're only 30 KB, not even close to 1 MB, so I'm inclined to think that isn't the problem.
