Title: Crystal Reports errors after update Post by Highlight/Chris on 12/02/13 at 10:25:48 I am wondering if anyone is still using Crystal for Pervasive v7.0. Until this weekend, we had been running Pervasive 2000i running DBA Classic. Then I upgraded to PSQL v11 on Friday. Now that we are back up, we realized my custom Crystal reports are causing errors. The first error I receive is a window titled "Seagate Crystal Reports: Database error" with the message "Btreive error: Data buffer length." When I click on "OK", I see another error with the window titled "Print Engine Error" with the error message "(X) Error detected by database DLL." I asked Lynn if I needed to upgrade Crystal but she thought I might not need to. Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated. Chris Lofald HIGHLIGHT, INC. |

Title: Re: Crystal Reports errors after update Post by Highlight/Chris on 02/03/14 at 11:05:11 As usual, Lynn was correct. I did not need to upgrade. I am still able to use Crystal Reports for Pervasive. I was not able to find a way to repair my reports. However, I was required to recreate the reports. At least, I was able to cut and paste much of the content so I was not starting from scratch. Chris |
Title: Re: Crystal Reports errors after update Post by Kelloggs on 02/03/14 at 11:40:16 FYI: If we load the entire table or tables then establish a relationship, then drag the fields we want, ratter than using a sql script, you will get this error because the table definition has changed. Use a SQL Query. Next time that ISTECH changes the definition same error will occur. Kelloggs |
