I have an order with 88 line items. I try to release this order and all item qtys are set to 0 and a line is added "Out of Stock"
This happens to only 1 customer. I reentered the order and the same happens. BUT if i change the customer bill-to to a different one (for testing) lines get released properly.
I even set up a new customer ID for the customer in question and even that results in the "out of stock" problem.
I checked the customer setup and compared with others and found nothing.

does anybody have an idea what is going on? I need to invoice this order

There is an option on the AR-A screen to Allow Backorders. It defaults to Y but you have set this customer to N.
