Our customers are asking for Certificates of Compliance separate from the packing list.

I was thinking I could extend the packing list report (ENSOC1.RTM) and have the first page be the normal packing list, and for each line it would print an additional CoC page. So if a packing list has 2 lines it would print the packing list, then 2 CoC pages, one for each line.

Can I do that all on one report? How could that be done? Is there a better/simpler way to do that?

We had 1 customer that wanted C of C's also.

What we did was copy the Packing List RTM that we use and change the Title to Certificate of Conformance.
We hid all the fields on the form that were not needed (Including the Notes at the bottom) and then added
a conformance statement as a Fixed Text Field with a Line for a signature.

On orders for this customer, we included a Non-Stock Item number called CofC with a description of "Certificate of Conformance". This was a reminder to whoever printed the Packing List to also print the "CofC" Packing List.

This is satisfied that customer with regard to there ISO procedures.

Humm, that sounds like something that would work... Wish I could spit out one CoC per item, but I guess a summary will do.

Thanks for the suggestion. I wish there was a way to pass output to another program, this report editor is... not fun.

Evo SO-C has the ability to call a separate RTM for C of C so it prints the 2 separate documents automatically.

If you add item Links you can print one copy for every item that requires it. Note, however, that it will do so regardless of customer.

If you have only certain customers that require them, and can somehow modify the RTM to do what you want, you can use the "RTM Print Group" feature of Evo to specify that RTM for the pertinent customers.

Just to make sure I understand this. . . because the CofC is modified version of the packing list, the CofC will list all line items released. If I need to generate individual CofC's for each line item, I would need to print individual shippers for each line item to use this feature.
