Title: reindex then pervasive rebuild Post by newline on 01/28/14 at 03:40:21 We have some files that are 'out of order' since a reindex. (BKARCUST, BKARHIVL, BKARHINV) For example viewing shipments in AR-A they are in a random order, not ordered by invoice number or date or anything that seems obvious. Have tried using the command prompt RBLDCLI (following some instructions linked to somewhere on here) but not having much luck. :-/ Not sure if the key number is correct... Any suggestions of anything else to try? |

Title: Re: reindex then pervasive rebuild Post by newline on 02/10/14 at 21:03:23 When I reindexed I use the NZINDEX.RUN to do several files at once. I've been ignoring this issue since I have to find time 'out of hours' when noone is using EVO to try and fix it. When I initially tried the command prompt RBLDCLI, I don't think I did use Key 0, so maybe I muddled it up. Since your responses below, I tried again using Key 0, didn't get any worse, but no improvement either. Not sure how I can work out which key refers to which field in the file at the moment? |
Title: Re: reindex then pervasive rebuild Post by Lynn_Pantic on 02/11/14 at 08:55:27 If you open the file using Maintain Database, the order of the indexes listed in the "Sort By" at the top is the key number order beginning with 0. |
