Has anyone had the problem with DBA not running the Sales tax report. It used to work but has not in some time. Please advise as to what we might do to get this going again. Does not run in EVO either.

I use it monthly. No problems. In fact, a few previous problems have been fixed, so maybe it's just not working the way it used to(?).

Actually, now that I think of it, there was a problem a while ago. Something I did (ran a utility, re-indexed a file, something) erased all the tax data. Of maybe just moved it so the program couldn't find it or something. I'll see if I can locate what the issue was an dwhat I did to fix it.

Wow, that was quick and easy to locate. There was a bug in one of the archiving utilities. So, if you have done some archiving* since you last ran a successful report that is almost certainly it. This happened to me last June, but I'm not sure which archiving utility it was or what version it was. Contact ISTS for a utility to fix it.

*date range of archiving doesn't matter - it apparently just moved all the sales tax info.
