Title: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by shadowcaster on 06/25/14 at 07:35:59 IN-B 06-20-14 latest update adding a non evo link is deleting existing links. adding a 2nd link deletes the 1st link I need to enter a rush job with about 50 new parts and they will all have links so I'm stopped till this is fixed |

Title: Re: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by David Waldmann on 07/15/14 at 04:47:30 Not sure what you mean by "non-Evo" link. If you mean, the original Links - once you enable Evo Links you really shouldn't be using the original Links. Not sure if what you're seeing is a side effect or not, but there is a warning about using them. If you mean, links not in the system directory - I haven't noticed anything, and I just did a test with three links on different drives than Evo and everything stayed put. ??? |
Title: Re: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by shadowcaster on 07/15/14 at 08:25:22 I had Allen work on it and he made some changes. I haven't used it enough yet to tell of its fixed all the way I don't used evo links as when I turned it on my evo link file was over 200 meg and my system went crazy. Id like t use it but no one offered any explanation of what was wrong so Ive lived without it. is an evo links file of over 200 meg normal ? my classic links file is 12 meg so to me the conversion went bad. however I have no way of knowing |

Title: Re: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by shadowcaster on 07/15/14 at 09:34:55 maybe I need to reinitialize the file re index my links and then do the conversion again |

Title: Re: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by shadowcaster on 07/15/14 at 10:14:59 Not sure why its so convoluted seems like it could be laid out in a more logical fashion without combining fields into gibberish. |
Title: Re: IN-B adding or changing a link Post by shadowcaster on 07/25/14 at 15:11:50 BTW this issue is still unresolved. :'( |
