We seem to have lost an invoice number - Most probably someone release a sales order (where the invoice number was allocated) then un-released it.
How can I know to which sales order this number has been allocated to? if I try to print invoice previously posted I get nothing, if I try to print all released invoices I get nothing! I need to know to which sales order its linked, so I could post it.

In which table can I find it?

BKARINV is the sales order header file and the invoice number would be there if it has been assigned but not posted.
