When running WO-G Issue Materials (ISTS Enhancement Date 2/15/15) BOM items with a quantity less than a full unit do not appear on the list to select for issuing. When attempting to add the item I get a message that it already exists.

We make some parts from a ring where the ring yields 5 segments which become "blanks" on the BOM of another item. As a result, we have a quantity of .2 (1/5) of the ring on the BOM for the downstream part.

I've looked into Defaults, but don't see any unit limitation checkbox.

I am getting ready to upload some patches including several updates to WO-G. I can't duplicate with the latest version I am getting ready to upload.

Installed patches and it worked the same. I did some additional digging and found that the item that had a fractional quantity was also the only type "F" part on the BOM. If I change the Kit Issue toggle from "N" to "L" the missing item shows up and can be issued. It looks like the issue was part type and not fractional quantity.

Part type should make no difference, it is something else. I just checked with the flag set to N and there is definitely something not right, I am not getting the entire BOM either. I had it set to L before and everything was listed. Sent to programming.

I issued materials this morning to a job, and even after editing the issue quantity field to 28, the transaction was issuing a quantity of 1. Is 3/23/15 the most recent version?
