Title: contract prices not entered in EVO
Post by HB on 06/02/15 at 07:10:09

We have contract prices set up for various customers. When entering orders in EVO (latest update and patches) these prices are not entered. Instead the list price and the discount for the customer is used.
Using Classic DBA everything works correctly.

Have you confirmed that the order is being entered within the valid date range of the contract price for the item?

We use contract prices quite a bit. Once in a while they won't pull in for some unknown reason. But, if you do a <F2> lookup in the price field of the SO, it shows the correct pricing.

Thanks for the response. I will look in to that

I have gone into SO-Q-H to try to enter contract prices, and it isn't working, so there seems to be something up with the module.  I am going to report it in the repeatable issues.

Enter contract prices works fine here.

What is the error you are getting?

Occasionally we see issues with it not pulling in the appropriate price, but it's pretty rare and so far I have not been able to associate any consistencies.

Hello, David,
I submitted a repeatable problem report, but long story short, there is apparently a problem with the module. It does not allow either an edit of an existing customer and item price, or setting a new one. In an edit, it starts with a particular customer and will not change, and in an edit and a new creation, it just jumps the contract price box, and goes right to the base prices area. Perhaps it garbled in the download of a program update or patch batch. 'Tis a puzzlement.

Contract dates and prices were reviewed and entered in December 2014.  A majority of dates have reverted to 2010 and 2011 dates.
There is a very serious problem with this module.  There is no error or alert popping up on screen.  The prices being pulled into the sales order line are not correct.
I am not certain where Evo is pulling the incorrect prices from.
