When purchasing prints MRP in one company, forecasts aren't showing up but total forecasted number shows up on the inventory screen. They made sure the option was Y to include forecasts but it won't show them.

Purchasing says there is only one forecast and none of the BOM items for it are showing a forecast. Not sure if another forecast was entered if that would work or not. So it's no specific part but only the BOM items for that forecast. Example: when you enter a forecast, like "50 of ILT5000/U for 8/5 and 50 for 10/5" it then makes the report show a requirement for those dates for every item on that upper level item's BOM. And NONE of those BOM items are showing a forecast.

They are pretty sure this did work at some point, and of course no one changed anything, so I am tasked with trying to figure out WHAT CHANGED??? I have no idea where to start looking.. HELP!

Ummmm....anyone have any ideas hear? We will try deleting and re-entering the forecast on the part, but just wondering what may be the real issue, if anything.

Ok, so the production manager re-created the forecast and lo! He noticed that the setting for the item was "R" and not "F:. Explains everything....it's working now. "But nothing got changed, it was Evo!" Uh huh..... ::)
