Title: Print Closed Sales Order Listing?
Post by IT Department on 09/01/15 at 13:03:46

Hi All,

We have a user here who we do not want to have access to modifying or entering existing sales orders. I'm wondering if there is a way we can print closed sales order listings for a particular customer/company? Without going into SO > A and reopening the sales order I mean.

Any ideas are appreciated. Is this something we would need to run an odbc query for?

Thanks

Assuming you're using Evo, you can limit their access to SO-T Sales Order Inquiry.  It looks just like SO-A, but is view only.  You can also give them access to the report menu.   We use ODBC extracts for some Excel based reporting too.  Very powerfull stuff.

Hi Tgerak,

Thanks for the reponse. We're using DBA Classic. I was hoping for an alternative to using an ODBC query since it's a pain trying to find the right tables, etc.

There is a BK version of SO-T (View SO). Not sure that you only get it in Evo. Try going to UT-A and type in BKSOT.RUN. If it works, add it to your menu.

If you don't have it, what information are you looking for?

SA-C can give you a list of items sold with quantity and prices by customer and date range.
SO-F will give you a copy of the invoice.
