Title: Item lookup by Customer Name
Post by David Waldmann on 10/27/15 at 05:13:14

I was going to edit the grid so that I could sort by Customer Name, but that is not a field in BKICMSTR, which is what the INVENTORY grid uses.

I'm guessing I can use an External UDF on BKARCUST to link Customer ID to Customer Name, but not exactly sure how to do that. Is there a Wiki article or something somewhere?

Thanks,

It is an index in MTICMSTR and the Inventory grid maps to both files

I guess I can't figure out how to access it.

In the Index part of the screen, the Key Name dropdown only has MTIC.PROD.CUST, not MTIC.PROD.CUSNM.

Never mind, I misread.  You are right, Customer Code is an index, not Customer Name.  If it is not on the dropdown in the index section, it is not an index.  You can add it to the grid but not make it an index.

Ok, well it is what it is then.

Thanks,
