Title: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by EMI Ann on 01/19/16 at 08:14:26 I had a problem trying to make a deposit between two customers (maybe me, maybe the program, but not something I've done since to see if it is a repeatable problem) and ended up with a duplicate cash amount that threw things out of balance. When I tried to run the Out of Balance report in GL-O, T6GL00B1.RTM (the name that automatically pops up), I got a message that that report doesn't exist, please try another. Reran, and tried again the next morning, and the same thing. I looked around to see if I could find a name that would indicate it might be what I wanted in the T6 and BK reports, but nothing jumped out at me. I am on 2015.2 now, and it's something I've had to use maybe 4 times since 1997, so I couldn't tell you what it might have been named in previous versions. I couldn't find anything in my backed-up 2015.1 to play cut and paste into the new one. So, it appears that it either got left out of the new version or has a different name. Thanks for taking a look at this! Ann Luce |
Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/19/16 at 10:27:57 There should be a copy of the RTM in your RTX subfolder |
Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by EMI Ann on 01/19/16 at 12:29:34 I just looked in the rtx subfolder, and the search comes up with nothing, in either 2015.2 or my old 2015.1 I was able to find what I needed to correct, so I am not hot for the print file now, but would be handy to have for the future. Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/19/16 at 15:52:55 Should be in the RTX subfolder immediately under DBAMFG |
Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by EMI Ann on 01/20/16 at 08:01:15 I opened the DBA folder, then the RTX subfolder, and scrolled thru the whole thing again. There are a number of files starting with T6S00 (25+), so I copied one that had a "B" in it, T6S00B1.rtx, to the desktop, renamed it to an rtm, and it was a backorder report form. I've looked at every file name in the RTX subfolder of the DBA folder, and have not been able to find T6GLOOB1.rtx, or one that seems like a more likely candidate in it. I let Explorer search the whole apps drive on the server, and it does not show up with either extension. If it has been renamed, I do not know to or from what. Thanks for the help, Ann |
Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by Lynn_Pantic on 01/20/16 at 08:53:08 It is in the 2015.2 patch file currently on the website so if you run SM-V to download patches it should be downloaded to your DBAMFG\RTX folder. |
Title: Re: OUT OF BALANCE REPORT Post by EMI Ann on 01/20/16 at 09:20:51 OK, thank you! I will look for it when I run the patch updates. Thanks! Ann |
