Title: Vendor Overdue Report
Post by dbsy2k on 02/18/03 at 18:48:40

We would like to see a vendor overdue report in DBA. The form would need to be for an specific vendor
showing all overdue purchase order numbers, line item descriptions, promised date and an area allowing the vendor to fill in a revised delivery date.

Sounds like a modification of PO-I-G to include description and a place for the vendor to fill in a new date?

I use PO-I-G for this...works well, but _really_ need 2nd description.

PO-I-G is what we are using now, however this is more for our use.  It really needs a column for the vendor to enter the revised shipping dates.  The work order column is of no use to the vendor so it could be dropped to make room for the revised date.

May I make a suggestion?

Since ISTechsupport will be coming out with an actual usable version of the report writer soon, why not wait for that, then just get the PO-I-G report converted to an RTM format.  Then you could add your own fields.

AND if you purchase the email capability, you could even email the form directly to your suppliers.

Sounds like a good idea!!  Has a date been given when the report writer might be ready?

I don't believe that Lynn has set a date yet, but it should be fairly soon.

The Report Writer advanced version is only the first step in the process.  Then we need to change the desired reports to RTM format.  Probably several weeks away.
