Title: DBA Backup Post by tommmy70 on 04/29/03 at 13:39:46 How can I do the DBA backup??? :o |
Title: Re: DBA Backup Post by Lynn_Pantic on 04/29/03 at 14:25:30 Simply copy your entire data folder onto the backup media, whether it is a CD-ROM or backup tape or whatever. If you use the Default company, your data is all the *.B files located in the DBAMFG\DEFAULT folder. If you have created multiple companies, each will have its own folder, For example, company 10 would be all the *.B10 files in the DBAMFG\10 folder. If you have room, just back up the entire DBAMFG folder and all subfolders. |
Title: Re: DBA Backup Post by tommmy70 on 04/29/03 at 14:36:03 It sounds simple but is there no backup system in the DBA itself?? >:( ;D |
Title: Re: DBA Backup Post by David Waldmann on 04/29/03 at 14:56:49 No, there isn't. Probably for the simple fact that most people who use DBA have other important stuff they want to protect. A utility that only protected part of their data would mean they'd need another to protect the rest, which would be kind of redundant. |
