Could somebody please tell me why DBA is making such a big deal of shoving Ezijobs down our throats? If it is supposed to be a free update to existing users then why do they care whether we change to it or not, they don't get any more license money out of us?

I dont think I care about it either.
What I am scared of is (somebody said this earlier) that Hart will eventually forget about DBA. It will no longer be sold, no longer maintained or supported. (this is supposed to be in the back of our minds influencing us to change)

Which that doesn't bother me as long as we have Lynn...except....what if you are a lifetime user. Could we keep using it when our licences need renewing each year. I think Jeanette was looking at getting a lifetime key.

A while back my company got a letter from DBA offering us a Master License to DBA. The offer was good up until March 31 2004. I think this was in response to cusomers on yearly DBA licenses who bought EziJobz, couldn't use it, and were now faced with paying their yearly license fee.
Because Pervasive is not offering licenses for older versions of Pervasive.SQL (V7 and 2000i), you have to
buy the upgrade to Pervasive.SQL V8. You could also get discounts for adding DBA users.
