Title: EJ and Firebird Post by aricon on 10/30/03 at 15:49:31 Anyone happen to have gotten the default login and password for the Firebird administration Console for EJ, in order to register the server and create server logins and such? |

Title: Re: EJ and Firebird Post by David Waldmann on 10/31/03 at 07:55:15 So, is this something necessary or at least suggested to set EZ up properly? |

No this is not necessary for setting up EZ Jobs. More for Firebird administration if it is necessary. Haven't had a chance to get in and fool around with that side of EZjobz yet. We have been too busy working with just the software itself. |
Title: Re: EJ and Firebird Post by aricon on 10/31/03 at 08:40:47 It IS neccessary for trying to make ODBC connections to the database. Of course you also need the ODBC driver. Can't quite get that to work yet though...... :-/ Plus, from a technical standpoint it gives some insight into the database structure and design. The table names are slightly less cryptic than DBA's, but not by enough. >:( |
Title: Re: EJ and Firebird Post by Tommy Johnson on 11/12/03 at 21:11:50 I have ODBC and Access working with Firebird. Much easier to setup than Pervasive. See posting on 44 Group Ezijobz forum under Firebird. |
Title: Re: EJ and Firebird Post by Andie on 11/24/03 at 12:23:35 I do not see where you have more info on ODBC, access and firebird? |
Title: Re: EJ and Firebird Post by karaya on 11/24/03 at 13:50:30 Tommy is talking about a post on our web site www.44group.com There is a post in the Firebird section concering Ezijobz and ODBC connectivity. |
