I have had a couple of people ask for a Bill of Lading form. This is really nothing more than a packing slip but with a lot of extra standard verbiage on it. If anybody has already gone through the effort of editing a packing slip RTM to turn it into a BOL and would be willing to share, we could make it available.

I know this post is only 10 years old, but did anyone ever share a RTM with you?

At Burr King we just added a new program to our list of MVP (most valuable programs) its not a inexpensive solution at the start, but it will pay for its self quickly.

For reference we ship 150-200 LTL shipments a month on average.

We contracted with SmartBOL www.smartbol.com/[ch8206] for a solution. They were able to link with the OBDC / pervasive EVO database and map the needed fields over. It takes less then a minute to generate a custom BOL with labels.

And the kicker to most of our shipping is we ship a large percentage 3rd party bill, and this software maintains a separate database for the information.
