Title: more estimated costs problems
Post by cathyh on 04/07/04 at 12:59:30

I think short and sweet is the order of the day in a forum, sorry for the long winded epistles in my previous entries on the subject.   Here is my s/s try:
Some of our work orders drop the estimated labor costs when we recalculate upon saving the work order in WO-A.  These costs show up in JC-A for an R status work order in the detail, but not in the summary at the bottom of the report.  The costs show up fine in the closed work order report in IN-N-C when the work order is closed.  NO clue as to the reason it does it with some and not others.  WE are afraid to recalculate!  ANy suggestions or fixes out there?

Use WO-K-A to look at the routing sequences for some of the problem WO.  What is the Number of Persons set to?  At one time SO-N was setting Num Pers to 0 which would then zero out the costs when recalculating.  That bug was fixed but maybe a variation of it has come back.

The number of persons in one of our problem work order's sequences is set to 1 so that is not the problem.
