Our CFO did a recalc chart of accounts this morning, and it stopped at a particular account and said the account no longer existed. This was an account they have not posted much to in probably over a year. She thought she'd add the account back in, but decided against re-running the recalc because it was taking a long time.

What would cause the error?
Should she haved added the account back into the list?
What will happen now when we go to re-run this at the end of the day today?

In somewhat of a hurry for an answer here. Thanks VERY much!

Adding it back in is a good idea, the recalc looks at ALL transactions back to the beginning of time. You will need to restart the recalc from the beginning.
