DBA is a pretty new stuff to me. If I want to design some new modules, what languages I can use? Please give me an answer.

If you want anything to work with existing code, you need to write in the TAS language. The current modules are in TAS 5.x, however you can write in TAS 6.0 and there are ways to make it work with the TAS 5 stuff to some limited degree.

You also need to become familiar with the existing logic (if you are looking at doing anything other than straight reports) so that anything you do updates all the necessary files and fields properly.

If you just want to do reports, you can use Access or Crystal Reports and ODBC to connect to the data.
