Hi,

We have ended up with a lot of obsolete item codes in DBANG. We would like to delete these as they are cluttering up the Items list. I know that we can delete them by choosing "delete" in the Item Import process.

What we are wanting to find out is what problems (say database corruptions?) would be caused (if any) by deleting Item codes that have already have transactions relating to them, such as Purchase Orders. Historic information does not matter to us such as old Jobs or Purchase orders. We have cleared all BOMs out of DBANG as well.

a bit late, but...

high risk.

Haven't done it, wouldn't do it without lots of testing.

test it with the training installation.

or just start from scratch again?
