Title: trying to find some fields. Inventory Location
Post by rwest on 03/24/08 at 07:56:48

I have a simple Crystal Report using the INVTXN table to count number of issues. I was asked to add the bin location to this report and have searched and searched but cannot find where this data is stored. I can only see this data in IN-A. Any ideas what table this is stored in??  :-/

Thanks in advance,

R West

Try PIBINLOC.B or ISBINLOC.B

Thanks for trying but I don't have those tables. I believe we are using "Classic" I have no idea if that makes a difference.

What version are you on? When was the last time you rebuilt your DDFs? If you go in through Maintain Database do you find those tables?

version 2004.1 I don't have access to maintain database but I will ask the admin to check for those tables. DDF looks like they were created march of '07

The Bin Location listed on the IN-A screen is MTIC_PROD_LOC in the MTICMSTR table.

Hope this helps.

I suppose I should have asked if they had bin locations turned on. That's what you get when you assume  ::)
