I can't be sure it ever was, but it for sure isn't now. I've tried directly entering the code as well as looking up by Code and Name. It's not in the lookup. This is an actual customer, not a Contact only. Any idea why it is not in the list? It is available on SOs.

You have your Default set to use the Contact Manager for Quotes and Estimates and this customer has not been entered into the CM file.  CM-K can be used to update the CM file with new customers that have been entered directly to the Customer file.

Oh, so you are making a choice of EITHER Customer OR Contact? I was assuming it meant you could ALSO use Contact...

CM-K works for us in EVO, but not DBA.  Has this been fixed on updates?
Sorry, we are way behind on updates.

We had a situation where the customer could be called up in Quotes, but not Estimates.  We tried to run CM-K in DBA and got the error notice to use EVO.   After using CM-K in EVO we can now call the customer up in Estimates.

We can't create a quote for new customers in DBA.    We can create the quote in evo  after doing cm-k.  We can see the quote in dba.  
Is there any plan to fix this?

You must have the default set to use Contact Manager for Quotes and Evo and DBA have different Contact Manager files.  You can't mix them.  Contact Manager, Estimates and Notes are the three places Evo uses different data from DBA.

What is the default we are supposed to change to accomplish this?  
Our default in DBA's  SD-Q  are set as follows:
contact master for quotes ....Y
Allow CM-A to make customer ...Y
Allow CM-A to access AR-A

If you are using Contact Manager for quotes you need to run CM-K to copy customers into the CM file.
