Cannot open Classic or EVO Post by Brian Snyder on 05/31/11 at 09:13:10 Came into work this morning and tried to launch DBA Classic and got the message "An Error occurred when trying to load Btrieve: Error: 3012" I tried to launch EVO and got the message: Error #3012 Unidentified error. File name BKSYMSTR. Program name C:|dbamfg\evoerpmenu.rwn EXE path: C:\ISTS Tried a reboot and got a message about a Database Service Manger with this info: C:\DOCUM~1\Prebco\LOCALS~1\temp\WER9bb8.dir00\NTDBSMGR.EXE.mdmp C:\DOCUM~1\Prebco\LOCALS~1\temp\WER9bb8.dir00\appcompt.txt Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure if this could have anything to do with it but I downloaded the newest version of Adobe Reader the other day and it also installed a McAfee virus scanner in which we already have a virus program. So I decided to uninstall it, reboot and now it's all good. I hope that is all it was. Brian |

Cannot open Classic or EVO Post by Lynn_Pantic on 05/31/11 at 21:09:47 For future reference, (in case anybody stumbles upon this thread trying to solve another issue) Pervasive Status codes in the 3000 or 3100 series generally indicate a network related issue. Start with network hardware, firewalls and permissions. My guess is that whatever you downloaded changed something on that front. |
