Title: Export Labour file
Post by TMC Trailers on 08/01/12 at 15:45:02

As the US payroll system is quite different to ours in NZ we use another software package for our payroll.

How our sytem works is that we have time clocks we enter labour in then import this daily to EVO, then each week week we import from the timeclock to our payroll. my issue is that there are small rounding variances between what gets imported into Evo and what goes to payroll, is there anyway to export a labour file from Evo that we can then import to Payroll?

Thanks

I am a bit confused why you are importing into Evo at all.  If you want the labor in Evo for job costing then you can use the DC module in Evo rather than your time clock to collect shift times and work order labor and then use DC-D to export the shift data for use in the external payroll program.

We import the punches from the time clock software into EVO. In DC-D is it possible to export as CSV format?

Oh are you saying that it's possible to have the time clocks download straight into evo?

You don't need a time clock.  Evo can serve as the time clock using the DC module.

No you can not. The labor reports are not a "columns/rows" format. You will have to do some editing.

You have two choices: ask ISTECH suppport to create a utility for you, or use excel/ms access to grab that information.

If  the original issue is the rounding. Fix it before importing into Evo. What software are you using? custom made?

Are you using the DE-H-A window? if yes, you can edit the records before they get post it: DC-G

Thanks for the reply Kelloggs, I think we'll look into a custom report.

We are using ADI Time as our software that runs the clocks, i'm pretty sure it's an American company.
