Title: unscheduled manual BUP perverts DBA DATA Post by Laura Oliver on 12/03/15 at 11:08:55 I was in AP-H (just listed check #37161 to screen) and then went to mark it yes when I got an error message. I quickly realized that one of the guys in the office had started a manual back up of DBA. He normally backs up at 3PM everyday but for some reason he started the BUP 15 minutes early. I lost data. Check #37161 is NOT reflected on the AP-R report (AP History) Check #37161 can be found in GL-I, GL-J and GL-O, but not in AP-R. Are there other repercussions other than just the check Number missing in AP-R? How do I fix this. Thanks Laura |
Title: Re: unscheduled manual BUP perverts DBA DATA Post by Kelloggs on 12/03/15 at 12:50:05 You lost data not because someone was making a copy of your data, but ratter the error message you got. As per how to fix it, dial customer support (sorry I cannt help you with that, maybe someone) :) Kelloggs BTW: There is a utility called "C:\Program Files (x86)\Pervasive Software\PSQL\bin\W3MONV75.exe" It will tell you if someone is using your DBA Data. If that is the case you shouldn't copy or backup anything. |
