Title: Descriptions on SO Defaults on Processing Tab
Post by gtladmin on 02/24/16 at 09:16:21

Going thru all the system defaults for Evo, have some items listed on the Processing Tab of Sales Orders Defaults (DEF-M) for which we need descriptions. The info for these options is not in the help so far as we can find:

S0-A Prevent SO Qty < Vend Min Qty for OP Oper
SO-A Auto Create type XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXX items
SO-A Add Evo Note for Date Changes
SO-A Disable Contact Validation
SOE:  Disable Generate Serials Button (probably self-explanatory IMM, but they want the official description)

Thanks,

Val

S0-A Prevent SO Qty < Vend Min Qty for OP Oper  - Check the Routing for any outside processing operation and do not allow entry of an order quantity less than the largest defined Vendor minimum

SO-A Auto Create type XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXX items   This is a customization to create new part numbers on the fly in a format {string1} - {string2} where each of the strings are defined as inventory items and the concatenation creates a new item.

SO-A Add Evo Note for Date Changes  Prompt for an explanatory note to be entered when changing a ship or promise date

SO-A Disable Contact Validation  Disable the validation of contact names in SO_A

SOE:  Disable Generate Serials Button (probably self-explanatory IMM, but they want the official description) Exactly what it says - turn off the ability to auto-generate serial numbers in SO-E.

Note:  These options all apply to the Evo T7 versions of the SO-A and SO-E programs
