I'm received multiple errors on DBA after an installation from Back up.

An installation from the original DBA discs was installed, then DBAMFG directory was copied from a previous back up.
DBA asks for user/name password, but when i get into IN-A error msgs start to pop up.
A record was not found in FileLoc for file - ISPT.B
A record was not found in FileLoc for file - ISwodesc.b

serveral errors for different files .

EVO seems to be working OK though!

Any advice

Your DBA data dictionary is old. With nobody in DBA, load Evo, go to UT-A, program EVOERPSYNCB and the Evo data dictionary (which seems to be working) will be merged into the DBA data dictionary. If you have a complete backup copy of the DBAMFG folder you should never reinstall anything from the DBA CD if you have our updates installed because we have made extensive changes to the data structures adding new files, etc. My suspicion is that your backup was incomplete so when you restored the DBAMFG folder you did not get any files that were open at the time. If you are lucky you are missing nothing other than the DBA dictionary files.

thanks, I am running it now. Should it take a long time? It moved pretty quick then slowed down at BKBMMSTR. I know this is a big file, but Im aftraid its froze!

It is only looking at the data dictionary (file definitions) so the file size should not matter.

It must have gotten stuck. What should I do?
