For some unknown reason we lost the DBA icon on a workstation. I can get into DBA by using the TP5WDBA in the dbamfg folder, but if it try to drag the TP5WDBA file to the desktop to create a shortcut I get an error that says. "the file BKMENUW.ARY is not in your default path"

I cant remember how to create the login icon, but its obviously not by dragging the TP5wdba file to the desktop.

Any all help appreciated.

After you created the shortcut did you change the startup path under the short cut properties? We do not use the DBA version but you should be able to look at the shortcut properties on one of your other workstations and match that (assuming that it is only the shortcut that went missing from the system).

I right clicked on my newly made icon and there is no shortcut tab under properties.
Now i gotta figire out why I don't have a shortcut tab.

You should be able to copy the icon from one of your other systems as well.....

Thanks! That worked.

I am going to remember that trick. I just right clicked on another users icon and sent it to a thumbdrive and then unloaded the icon to the poor workstation. Its works now!
