EVO 2018.1   Entering PO's, starts with message Vendor Code Cannot Be Blank  3X and then you can enter code.  Once items are entered PO cannot be saved.

This does work in DBA.

Mine seems to be working fine. That being said, when exactly do you get that message, after the PO number field? Use Maintain Database and look at both the BKAPVEND & BKAPPO files to make sure there are no blank lines that exist at the top of those two files.

I cleared a blank record from BKAPVEND.  Selecting PO  A Add new still brings Information  Vendor Code cannot be blank.  OK brings it again  2X.  I can then enter vendor code and info  thru items.  Even when an item is entered,  Save is not an option.  As I have updated to 2018.1 I will not try restoring older files.  I will wait for a fix.

To be sure your PO-A is calling the latest program, what is the ISTS enhancement date on the top of PO-A?  Latest is 12/15/17.

Make sure you go to SM-V and install any patches that are available first. Then on your workstation go to the C:\ISTS\DFM folder. Blow away the T7POA.RWN & T7POA.DFM. Then go back into EVO and open PO-A that will force the system to copy those files from the EVO or DBA folder to your ISTS folder. What is the Enhancement date after that?

Followed above instructions and now have Date 01/16/18  and I get the same results.  T7POA files in ISTS now show todays date.

Ok, the version of PO-A that you are using is the current one. You failed to mention that you have the list coming up before you get to the PO-A program comes up. When yo are on the list you click on Add new and you get the errors correct?  If thats the steps you take then I have duplicated the issue.

Yes,  click on Add and the program goes to the next screen and I get the errors.

It has been reported  to the Bug tracker for the programmers to fix.
