New demo for the Evolution DBA...
04/04/03 at 08:36:36

Hi,
 The new evolution DBA program sounds great however I'm having problems with the demo. I installed the program ok however I get a window for a user name and password after I click on the icon to get into the evolution program? Thats as far as I can go.

...ok I got into the program directly from the server however when I create a shortcut on a workstation I get the following error;
"A record was not found in FILELOC for file BKSYMSTR.B-2 . There must be a record for each file opened."
Any suggestions?
Also when I get into the Evolution I can't open my dem-test company because it doesn't show in the Change Company list or the Maintain DB?
Thanks
Jim

I am having problems also.

The program ran one after install. I then had a "demo" problem with there being too many records in a file. After shutting down the program I could not get it to run again.

Jim -

See the post in the Evolution section regarding the paths from the workstation.

I have tested the demo and I do not have a problem of not being able to run again after getting the demo message.  Check Task Manager and make sure you don't have a hung copy of TasPro6 Runtime.  Kill it if you do.
