When you save an RTM and you are on one of the sub-reports rather than the main, you lose connectivity from the system logic to the report. Re-copy the one Lynn sent you into the directory and go to the sub, then make your field visible, then make sure to go back to the main tab and THEN save.

Did you click back to the MAIN tab before saving?
If not, it pretty much wipes out the form and you'll have to copy it from the .rtx form, rename it to .rtm, make your change (don't forget to go back to main), save it and try again

[Lynn,
My copy of the file is dated 12-2002. Is this the latest copy?

Are you using the DBA Modify Forms in TAS 5 or the TAS 6 editor?
