Roll Eyes okay, i don't know what happened to the last topic...
we have many items that have different prices at any given time, for customers, discounts, etc.  what is the best way to put different prices in for the same item or is there even a way?

There are several ways, and no "best" way. It depends on how you do your pricing. There are price codes, discount codes and contract pricing. I'd suggest taking a good look at the manual and/or help file to se what will work best for you.
