Be able to work on new Contact after using AR-A

If accessing a customer's data in CM-A, and then you use the "AR" link to go to AR-C, after you come back to CM-A you can't clear the screen to work on another Contact unless you exit the menu and come back in again. Does anyone else find this as bothersome as me?

Along the same subject, if we go into the program to fix this, I have had requests for a default to limit the CM-A/AR-A access.  One suggestion would be to retain the Make Customer button so a salesperson could turn a contact into a customer but remove the AR button so existing customers could not be edited.  Any other suggestions or ideas?  Perhaps have the Make Customer button pop up a window to enter payment terms and sales rep for commissions?

Requiring the addition of Default Terms, Charge Interest, Send Statements, and Tax Group would be good.
 
Bigger request, sorta related. Make CM-A and AR-A much more tightly integrated. At the very least, when you make a change to one that has a corresponding field in the other, ask "Do you want to duplicate the change in [the other one]?" Better yet, just have it make the change, or let the user define whether they want it automatic or not.
 
BTW, I like having the AR button available in CM-A. Why not integrate the ability of Evo to show the AR-A info without the ability to change it (again, user-defined selection).

I think we will try this way - Have a default to have AR Access from CM-A.  If it is No, then the AR button goes away if you load CM-A from the menu BUT if you come into CM-A from AR-A, you obviously have AR-A access so in that case, the button stays.  Also like the idea about coordinating edits of address, phone #, etc.  Will do that.

One thing to note: you can use <PgUp> to switch from one to the other as well, so you'd have to eliminate that too...

OK, working on this for the next post.  Also a default for SO-E to force the Invoice and Pack Slip to have the same number for users that always have one pack slip per invoice and don't want to have 2 sets of numbers.  Reprinting a pack slip from a posted invoice will also be possible.  Planning a post by Monday 8/18.
 
Appreciate all the feedback so we are making the changes that YOU want.  Keep sending the requests, I will keep the programmers busy!
