Is there anyway to have acknowledgments automatically print or fax as soon as you enter the order? ??? ???

Yes, sign up for IS Tech Support subscription, the current update version includes printing Sales Order documents (Acknowledgement, Pack Slip and/or Invoice) when saving the Sales Order.
