DBA Uninstall - How?
09/05/03 at 12:58:25

What is the best way to remove DBA from a work station? I seem to have a problem with one instance of DBA and I would like to remove it and pervasive and try a fresh install on that workstation.

The DBA CD has a CLEANUP folder containing CLEANUP.EXE which can be run to remove all traces of Pervasive.  As for as DBA is concerned, there is really nothing to remove although you can delete the TP5WIN.INI file from the Windows folder and rerun the Workstation Setup in the DBAFG folderon the server.

You can also use the Pervasive System Analyzer from Pervasive's website.  The current version is Version 8 (but it also works on Pervasive 2000 and 2000i installs) and according to my contact at Pervasive (and my own useage experience) it works even better!
