We are trying to find a compatible remote data collection device that can collect labor on work orders using the bar coded sequences in the traveler, and also  will  help with inventory.  Does anyone have any experience with or suggestions about a certain product that they can share?

I mean a bar code reader/alphanumeric keypad type handheld device that is portable, but that docks at the end of the day to collect labor transactions and can also do inventory data collection  at the end of the month.  About a year ago I was looking into a DC2K module on the website dbapalm.com but it appears this is currently a non-active website.  I haven't tried calling them by phone.
