UT-G?....single machine sensitive
01/06/04 at 10:42:54

We print delivery tickets (pack slips) on several workstations.  All have identical printers.    All park, lineup, and print great....except one.   One printer seems to pull and park the paper too low.    (and folks forget to wind it back)

Is there a way to change the line up just for that one machine and printer?

What about  UT-G?    If I only do it on the "bad" computer...will effect any other prnters?

Is there a better or different way.

I know that doing it thru MODIFY forms will change it on all the machines.

Thanks,
Laura

Try your printer manual. Some of our printers allow you to re-set where the paper parks through the printer keyboard. Good luck. Smiley

Thanks, We have tried that.

I really thought that I remembered the abilty to change the DBA margins and limit that change to a specific workstation.

Laura,

The problem is that those settings are saved in a database in DBA. That database (like all the others) is shared by all the clients that connect to the DBA application on the server. One might be able to write a small program that would override those settings for a particular machine and store that as a .BAT file or some such, but that is the only way that I could think of.
