why thingy? (Read 2576 times)

My Forum Profile is set up to (properly) call me 'Dick', but when I post and sign, "Dick"displays as "thingy". Only my Mom calls me that... I'm going to sign this post "Dick", but look how it comes out. (No) Thanks, Dick

Whenever I type my RIGHT name (Rick but with a 'd' instead of an 'r') it comes out 'thingy' . I want an investigation! Who knew what and when? And I want to President of Yale to head the taskforce. The forum has preset "censored words" with translations and "dick" along with other vernacular expressions for a part of the male anatomy was automatically censored and translated to "thingy". I removed it from the list of censored terms. Sorry 'bout that! Lynn
