Combined data from multiple sources
03/10/04 at 11:14:51

I know how to use two data sources in one report, and how to insert one report as a subreport on another. What I'd like to be able to do is be able to make a formula that uses numbers from two different reports - for instance the labor from payroll and the labor on workorders - or figure out a way to put unlinked data on one report.

Or is that not possible?

David,
One way to get data in a formula from another unlinked table is to access the desired data in a subreport, and return that value to the main report throught a linked paramiter.

Put the subreport in a suppresed section so that it does not print.
