A few bugs?
04/08/04 at 06:55:56

Just a couple of annoyances:

1.  If IN-A is open and you open IN-B and try to enter vendors using the button at the bottom, DBA crashes.  We are using the IS Tech Support patch as of 3/12/04 but the bug still seems to be here.

2. If IN-A is open, and you open PO-E (enter RFQ), DBA will let you finish entering the RFQ and print it, but then crashes and you have to restart the computer.

Does anyone else have these problems?

Thanks! Aaron

My guess is Standard DBA - this is one of the things that can't be fixed in TAS 5 but Evo fixes.

When you DO experience this (or any other DBA crash), if you have run DBAMS.EXE on the workstation to turn on multi-session, you can go back into DBA without rebooting the workstation.

Yep, standard DBA.

So EVO is necessary to eliminate these bugs?

Yes, both of the things you describe are because the program that is crashing is chaining to another program (IN-B is calling BM-K to enter the vendor and PO-E is actually calling PO-A) and standard DBA has limited multi-tasking so when you have another window open and do this, it trips over itself (for lack of a more technical description) and locks up.   Evo, on the other hand can truly multi-task within DBA so you can have multiple windows open simultaneously.
