Incorrect Book Value
04/23/04 at 10:18:10

An A type part was built on a work order, quantity 5, finishedat 5.9480 each, shipped and invoiced and the inventory was pulled at 5.9480 each,  but the value report now says that we have 0 parts with a total of $57.55  in the actual value column.  ( A little less than double the actual cost)  What could cause this, and is there a place I can look to see what happened?  My transaction record looks right, and the general ledger matches the total value in inventory for the GL account if I take out the values that are wrong.  There are actually two items and they were processed on the same invoice.

Thanks, that's what we will do.  I was just curious about what could have caused it;  we see this alot at the end of the month with items at 0 count but with a book value.  This was the first time I stumbled across it right after it happened.

Has to do with the basic structure of how DBA was created. That is why there are so many utilities to try to sync data from one table(s) to another.
